John Clarke is Registered Kinesiologist and Project Leader for the Clinical Evaluation Research Unit (CERU) at Kingston General Hospital, Kingston, Ontario Canada. He received his Masters degree in Exercise Physiology from the School of Kinesiology and Health Studies at Queen’s University. John has 8 years of research on both academic and industry sponsored trials. He is currently the Project Leader for several studies including: The NEXIS Trial, a multi-center, randomized controlled trial of combined cycle ergometry and Amino Acids in mechanically ventilated, critically ill patients; IMPACT, a multi-center, randomized controlled trial examining decisional support tools for the families of critically ill patients and SUSTAIN CSX, looking at the effects of Selenium supplementation in high risk cardiac surgery patients. He also maintains some of our websites and oversees some of our social media accounts.
